Title: MVC2 Custom Mix for Dreamcast
Post by: HaRuMaN on March 30, 2006, 08:22:36 am
Anyone else make theirselves one of these?  After 4 attempts, I finally got it to work right.  First two attempts were non-selfboot (need Utopia boot disk) and the second two were coasters.  The 5th disk works great!  And now, I don't have to listen to the gawd-awful music, especially the character select stuff (take you for a ride, take you for a ride...  *ugh*)

I haven't tried it yet, but I got burnt out on MVC2 years ago (to the point that I told my wife to take back the copy of the Xbox version she'd picked up for me as a surprise, not knowing I'd had it on Dreamcast since release).

I think I'll give it a shot after my trip to Indonesia though.  It just kinda sucks that I have to download a game I already own in order to do it.   :hissy:  I'll probably do it with CVS2 first, since I enjoy that much more.

If you have a nice 3Ghz system you can always try to play it in Chankast prior to burning.  When I playthis game in my cab I crank the stereo and turn down the speakers in the cab.

Is there a guide for this anywhere?  I found a version someone had custom-made with a bunch of their own techno tracks, but I never found out how they did it.

Racketboy had a post about this topic:
