I need 1 spinner knob for my Six-Pac http://arcadeflyers.net/?page=flyerdb&subpage=flyer&id=2477&image=1
It needs to be silver/chrome with a 1/4 inch shaft opening and knurled edges. It also needs to be between 1.5 and 2 inches. I tried Radio Shack, but all they had were too small. Any ideas?

Thanks for the response, but they're a bit pricey...Radioshack's good-looking knob was actually decent quality and only $2.99 for two...Too bad it was 1/2 inch too small in diameter. There's gotta be a vendor that sellls this for a little cheaper than SlikStik...Their quality is unmatched, but I really don't want to spend on one knob what I spent on the entire game ($24 on eBay).

If you find anybody else selling nice knobs, you let us know. Nobody's found any.

If you're interested in one of the silver knobs shown here let me know. I would send you the 2.5" plain silver knob for free. Its solid and takes a 1/4" shaft.
send me a PM if yer interested.

Reminds me when the customer complained about our genuine GM parts prices...he said Auto Zone had the part for 1/2 the price of ours...but it didn't fit, so now he has to buy ours. Sometimes you get what you pay for.
Course you seem to be getting one free so I guess that does not apply here ;D
Can you post some pics of the finished product when its done?

I would suggest not buying them.
Keep an eye out for old equipment at garage sales and such. I found three for free at one time.

These knobs (http://www.kilointernational.com/knobs/dds_series/dds_series.html) are cool, but at 1.25" they might be too small. Still someone might want to use them as a volume control. You can get them at Digikey.

I find that that they get that diameter measurement by including the size of the skirt...This makes them actually about .25 inches smaller than their advertised size...Also, beside Tempest, I'm not sure many spinner games had a skirt on their knobs.

had a skirt on their knobs.
I once went to a bar in New Orleans where there were a lot of folks with skirts on their knobs :laugh2:

ain't that the truth! I'm from that area...I fully believe it was the inspiration behind the song "Dude looks like a lady" :laugh2:!
