Title: Removing metal mounting braket from my monitor?
Post by: eastbayarb on March 25, 2006, 07:37:55 pm
I have a 27" SVGA/VGA monitor that I wanna put in my arcade cab, but with the metal mounting bracket, it will not fit (and getting another cab to accomodate this monitor is NOT an option - The cabinet I do have now was just way to painful to get into my place!).

Is there any way to remove the metal mounting braket?

My monitor/mounting bracket looks just like this one:

Thanx for the picturification of my link.

I now have pics of my actual monitor, but I don't know how to post pics with my messages.

Here are pics of my monitor:

You need to put the "img" tags around the picture locations.   Like this:

Code: [Select]

Or, while you're composing your post, you can click the button with the icon that looks like a Landscape Painting, and it'll add the tags for you.   The button looks like:

Sorry I don't have any real help for your question though :)
