Title: How do I load a game with no sound?

I'm using Mame32 and I'm trying to run JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Once it gets to the point where it tells me "This game is lacking sound" it just closes itself. Whats the deal? Is there a way to run it wouthout the sound interfereing?

Unfortunately the game and the other JoJo games don't work.
