First let me just give props to Whammoed for his LightMite (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=50031.0). I was very impressed with his clever lighting solution. Building on his idea, here is an RGB version that I based entirely on Whammoed's creation. When hooked up to my Rainbow Circuit (http://www.rototron.info/?Page=RainbowCircuit.aspx) it allows you to have translucent leaf switch buttons that fade through the spectrum. Since, Whammoed came up with the idea, I have no intention of selling them and I encourage him to offer an RGB version of the LightMite.

That is cool. I had considered doing something similar but didn't persue it since the clear leaf buttons aren't available anywhere. Also I wanted to use a terminal block and keep a good portion of the board unpopulated to make plenty of places for the holders "arm"...although if you cut the leads short for soldering it wouldn't really get in the way...It turned out nice to be able to cut a section of the board off also for a "neo geo" style layout where the bottom button would be short on room.
Did I mention thats pretty cool? :applaud:
Anyway, don't let me stop you if you want to produce these. So far I have just been working on products that I want that aren't out there yet, not necessarily big money makers so don't worry about cutting into my profits (don't have any) or ideas.
