Not sure how good these would really be on a cabinet, but they are cheap, have 10 keys with 3 shift states, scroll wheel, and a joypad with usb interface and some really good button mapping software for $9.99 at biglots.

If nothing else, you could take it and wire the 10 buttons to make a really kick but, easy to wire keypad to use to select songs with dos/wincab.

The n50 SpeedPad is the first gaming device of its kind, a completely new gaming tool that transcends conventional categories such as game pads, joysticks, etc. The SpeedPad can best be described as a combination keyboard and game pad. The 10 keys on the n50 act as keys on a keyboard with the advantage of being easily accessible and intuitively configured. The n50 also has an eight-way directional pad, much like the d-pad on a standard game pad. It

Very interesting!  It doesn't say what the interface is; I'm guessing USB, which means it wouldn't work in DOSCab.  But WinCab could use it... it should even be able to use the joypad inputs.  For jukebox use, though, a standard keypad would probably work better; Big Lots usually has those too.

Anyone found a good way to relabel keys?

It's usb, comes with some really cool software to remap the keys to anything you want, and even autoswitches based on the exe that is currently running.  It also has the throttle/z-axis/mouse wheel input that might be handy, plus the joypad that could be used for volume/next/previous or the like.   The keys are even in a fairly nice layout if you just wanted to mount the board recessed into a control panel.  They have 1 to 10 on them by default, which I thought would work ok to input songs into wincab bye just replacing the bottom row with a-e off a black keyboard.   For $10 with all the cool features, it seemed like a steal.  The 3 state shift keys, make it really cool to enter letters also.   Just make keys like 1/a/k, 2/b/l, 3/c/m, and you could hop directly to all but 4 letters, and even type in most searches without having to pull out a keyboard.

that is a really cool controller. I'm going to race to big lots and hope they are there.
The software is the selling point. It is quick to create profiles and they can automatically
change according to what is running. What is cool is that each key is remapable and can also
store a series of keystrokes and timings.

I use the gamepad for joystick hacks. It works perfectly. I hope this gamepad is as easy to hack.
Thanks for sharing. I just hope my local Big Lot has them in stock.

i went to my local big lots and found none there. I did find some cheap tiki
mugs and wood glue, so all was not lost.
