Just posting a message to say hey to everyone, as I just joined the forum. I've recently been buying the parts to build a cocktail cabinet over the summer, so this seems like the place to be!
-
Summer is far long back. Well, if your in north america.
-
Well I actually mean around May; that's when my current semester is over.

Hi.
Do yourself a favor and stay away from Everything Else from now on... we just suck the productivity right out of people around here! :)
Unless you don't care if you ever actually finish a machine.. then, welcome aboard.
-
Virtualmatt, get out of here while you can! You are gonna spend too much time here and not get your project done ;D
Welcome to the forums!

Welcome!! Please read the FAQ... :)

If everyone read the FAQ, there wouldn't be any questions to frequently ask ;D

Welcome aboard.....(http://www.stingraysmadness.com/photohosting/albums/userpics/10048/kaboose.gif)
There are a few stages in the BYOAC process
1] MAME virgin... like a kid with his first playboy. So excited about the discovery, he forgets to look at the whole picture before asking questions.
2] newbie... Reading everything, asking questions, all around excitement about the project.
3] accomplished newbie... feels good once he can actually answer another members question.
4] advanced newbee... learns to ask questions tactfully without doing any searching but can make it sound like he did.
5] contributing member... becomes very helpful answering questions and encouraging other members with their projects.
6] self proclaimed guru... answers all questions with "use teh search n00b" thinks this response gives him leet status.
7] asshat... pretty much got consumed by the topics in EE and put the project on the "I'll get it done eventually" status
8] reformed asshat... ignores EE to try to finish project, he becomes a very helpfull member for a while.
9] purgatory... uuummmm what.... "yeah , one day I'll get around to finishing the cabinet"
and a friendly reminder the higher the post count, they less they actually know (http://www.stingraysmadness.com/photohosting/albums/userpics/10048/index.gif)

So, basically.....anything that you post...is worthless?

EE could use some new meat. Sit down son and enjoy the show. Also, the first rule about EE: No one is to talk about EE.
