I am restoring a Donkey Kong cabinet. I have a two-board set that I have fired up, but the video is really crappy. Lots of vertical smearing. I thought possibly it was the horizontal adjustment pot on the video board, but shorting a 10K ohm resistor across the legs didn't fix the problem. I made a short video of the monitor that shows the problem.
Here is the video link:

If it won't open automatically in Windows Media Player, you can right-click on the link and choose: SAVE TARGET AS to put in on your hard drive so that you can play it back.
I would really appreciate it if you guys could take a look and point me in the right direction.
Thanks,
Mark

Okay I fixed it. The MB74LS123 chip at A3 had one pin that wasn't seated properly.

Glad we could help .... ;)
Cheers.

My wife was saying she told our 9-year-old son that she would stick a bar of soap in his mouth three times if he didn't stop saying naughty words. :police:
He decided discretion was the better part of valor and stopped saying bad words before he had to get his mouth washed out. ;)
