Title: which one should I use? (a few pc questions)

first post so please dont kill me

I did a search and alot off members love amd so here are the two systems that I have

msi k7t- turbo
XP 900 (its a xp1600 but it doesnt like 133fsb so I switched it to 100fsb and it runs fine :(  )

or

MSI (cant recall the MB)
P3 933 (133 fsb)

here's the parts that will be thrown into the system
768 ram (pc133)
geforce 2gts or geforce 4 MX420
sblive

is this enough to run lets say mortal combat 3 @ full speed?
or is it just a basic old school arcade machine?

Nope. 

Look at the FAQ link again, there are a few posts about computer specs.  You'll play a LOT of games with that system if you use an older version of MAME, but some games just won't play.  MK3 is probably one of them.

yea I been a lurker for a while now

I checked out the faq daily

but cant really afford to get rid on my daily PC just for mame (p4 3.2)

ohh well.... guess im building a old school box
