Title: Broken pots on WG U2000
Post by: thunderball on March 15, 2006, 10:45:50 pm
So, I just broke a couple of the pots on my WG U2000 (long story).  Now the monitor doesn't work.  It just makes a clicking sound.  The ones I broke were for adjusting the h-hold and height (see pic).  I can repair/replace the pots, but will doing so fix my problem?  Or did I cause some other damage to my monitor?

Bob Roberts sells these pots.

Ok.  I replaced the pots.  The monitor still isn't working.  I still have a blank screen and it is making a clicking noise.  So I'll ask my question again.  Could breaking these pots have damaged something somewhere else on my monitor?

There are several kits you may need to buy:

capkit
power supply upgrade kit
vertical sweep kit

They are available to purchase from the Wells-Gardner parts department.
