I'd say Bangai-o should probably be on your import list.  It is a great shmup for the N64.  They later ported it to the Dreamcast but it came out on N64 first.  Great game and hard to find.

This is the only copy I saw on ebay. (http://cgi.ebay.com/BANGAI-O-Nintendo-N64-Treasure-NEW_W0QQitemZ8266933091QQcategoryZ27195QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

im not to keen on sports games except for hockey and i have one that i didnt mention i dont know why.  if its a choice between n64 and dreamcast id rather go with the dreamcast since it has the better graphics.  though i did get the rayman 2 for n64 that was before i knew better.

This isn't really a classic, but I have been having fun with it lately:

007: The world is not enough

The game is so-so, but the multi-player is great. The teams and AI bots are good if you are playing with someone new to the 007 series (put them on your team and play against bots).

The best third party games for the N64 were the THQ wrestling games... awesome.

Yeah, but for years, they were $3 each at Gamestop.

I bought almost a whole N64 domestic set by snagging them $5 each from Blockbusters clearing them out.

try a gamecrazy when they have 3 for 15 sales.  i bought quite a few of mine for 5 during the past few years at gamestops and ebgames.  my gold zelda carts where 10 each.  the majoras mask was misslabeled at 10 and the other i bought about 3 months ago.  also my friend sold a few to me for 5 each.

dk64 is kinda like how mario 64 is to super mario all stars.

i have the first snowboard kids left that one out.  i have a stuffer box filled with these games and sometimes i loose track.

surprisingly the game wwf no mercy was and is enjoyable.  i think its the best on the 64 for those types.

Now that Gamestop doesn't buy N64 stuff for more than a quarter, just hit up yard sales.  This summer is going to be when all the people who would have sold to Gamestop sell cheap in their front yard.

Always avoid Gamestop anyway.  It's like they intentionally break everything before they sell it.

Those stores do rip off customers on all games.

Anytime you buy used electronics you're looking for a problem.. not really their fault, buy new stuff or take a chance. They will take it back, you're not stuck with it.

there were so many times i found a great deal on a classic game only to bring it home and it not work even after cleaning.  but they are terrible with used games.  they never really check to see if they work but at the price they resell them for after buying back it really doesnt matter if they all dont work they still make profit.  they are so stupid.

I totally forgot about Snowboard Kids.  I remember renting it when I was in middle school and staying up all night playing it!  I don't remember if it was 1 or 2, but I am definately going to have to go buy them now.  Hopefully, they're as good as I remember.  Well, at this point about all I remember is the characters having gigantic noses.

Gamestop really is a sucky store.  Most of the preowned games are in terrible shape.  I think it's more of a statement about the average person who sells their games to gamestop than the store.   However, ocassionally you can find preowned games still in good shape (i.e. box and manual in mint condition).  I've only bought one preowned game that didn't work and I was able to exchange it w/o any issues -- I think they have a 90 day guarantee.

In Madison, WI there are several independent preowned game stores that are much better than gamestop.  They seem to only buy items in good shape, they clean the items really well, and have all systems spanning all the way back to 2600.  They have prices about the same as gamestop too.  You should check your yellowpages for similar stores.

snow board kids 1 was great and in the second they added some alien type character.  yeah the only way to really define the game is that they had big noses.

I am pretty sure it was the first one I played.  I've never played the second.  And I don't see how an snowboarding alien would work, but I don't think a whole lot made sense in that game anyway.

Tetrisphere is a good game you left out.

I spent part of today playing Tetrisphere (based on this recommendation). Very cool game. Highly recommended.

Star Wars Racer needs to be on the list.

One of my favorites, especially when you put in the code to use two controllers to simulate the way the pods were raced in the movie.
