Title: dimensions for perfect 360?

what are the mounting dimensions for the perfect 360?  what joystick has similar dimensions?

It should be the same as all other similar joysticks like the Xarcade joystick.  Check out http://www.retroblast.com/reviews/joysticks/happsp360.html for a review where they discuss the installation.

Keep mind also that the joystick mounts with the contacts pointing right, so make sure if you are planning this in Visio, or whatever, that the joystick looks like this:

(Poor attempt at ascii art) Most of the templates I have seen require the joystick to be rotated 90 degrees, if it is a P360...

similar to the HAPP competition??  I can't seem to find any dimensions on it.  I saw the review also and didn't see it there unless I missed it

Check out

http://webpages.charter.net/rbecker5/files.html (http://webpages.charter.net/rbecker5/files.html)  about halfway down is a joystick template in MS Word.  Forget the buttons and rotate the template 90degrees and there you go.  It is the same one that I used to mount my P360's.
