I'm getting a gift for someone, in the form of an Atari 2600 System. The system is on its way, and I just got some cartridges I ordered today in the mail. I was looking at them, and I can find no contacts. Just seems to be a plain black box, save for the labels. Isn't there supposed to be a card edge connector somewhere? Did I get screwed over?
-
the plastic recedes into the cartridge so the edge connector is revealed to the machine. There should be a slot on the cartidge or a couple small slots
-
thanks

My brain is used to shiny circles you put on a sliding tray that hold hundreds of megabytes of data. Not square, black, plug in things that have less memory than a VCR

its all we had back then, and we were happy.

And when we went to K B Toys to buy new carts, we had to walk up hill both ways....... ;D
