Thanks to another member here on the boards, I have found a stellar deal for new complete translucent leaf switches. The whole thing: button, spacer, leafswitch, and nut for less than $2 a piece. Once I receive confirmation that mine are in the mail, I will release the name of the company. (just to be sure I get my order) They replied to my email within an hour with prices and I paypaled them immediately. I ordered 30 complete buttons for $55 shipped. The member who gave me the heads up has ordered previously, so it looks like a solid company. Talk about a sweet deal! :o

wouldn't it have been better to wait til you got your order to post this instead of teasing us?
:P

What would the fun in that be? :P

What's with the funny bird in your avatar? ::)

What's with the funny bird in your avatar? ::)
It's a cartoon character I drew in high school.
The reason I mentioned your sig is that it's really wide and causes scroll bars to appear in my browser. That's all! ;D

I received mine today. I was a little surprised to find that at first there were a dozen off color ones on top, but apparently those were for packaging?! So at first I was worried, but just as advertised, they were in the bottom. Someone buy those fifteen in the link so I'm not on the hook please. Also, just email the guy with what you want and he is quick on the replys.

I think it actually hurts...you can't stare at it for more than a few seconds.

Hmm. I contacted the guy, and he said no, all he had available is what was pictured in the auction.
I see a similar reply to somebody else that contacted him about complete leaf button setups (who was it?) on the auction page.
I think the guy may not be digging the button requests for some reason.
-
That's weird because when I talked to him, I told him that there would be a heavy interest in them and he seemed happy about it. He also said he had anywhere from 10-100 wico 4 way leafswitch joys. Well, I hope someone gets to benefit. He actually sent me two extra red translucent setups and about 8 regular leafswitches and buttons. Arcade gods are lookin' out for me. ;D

ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!
I WANT TO BILD SPIDERS !!!!!!!!!!

I've seen his auctions numerous times in the past. I don't recall ever seeing any actual leaf switches for auction. Plenty of buttons, using those same pictures, but not any switches. It was a few months ago, so I could be wrong, but I don't recall there being any. It was always like that auction said, "without switches, choose color," etc.
Your guaranteed bets are probably the new leaf setup from ponyboy for the microswitch buttons, or contacting level42, and getting some stuff from Suzo. (Located in Netherlands. Only businesses can purchase stuff from them. Level42 has an account or whatever.) I received my stuff in this past week. It's all tungsten variety though. No more regular switches. Costs a little more for the tungsten. Word is that leaf switches are becoming hard to come by there too. That's why only the tungsten versions. After everything, I received 27 switches, maybe 40 nuts, and 12 various buttons for around $110, including shipping to the states. Not exactly a bargain, but it will be worth it in the long run, methinks.

Yeah, sorry if this doesn't come through for anyone. I bid on that auction then got the bright idea to email him. He emailed me back instantly saying he had complete set ups(kind of like he didn't understand my question). I emailed him back and asked how much 30 complete buttons would be and he quoted me $55 shipped. So within an hour of seeing the auction, I had paid for them and they were on the way! I called him the next day and he said he packaged them that night and that he had a stock of buttons around. Not a huge stock, but he gave me the impression he had enough for a few orders. Oh well, I hope someone benefits.

I still don't get it. The auction says "w/out leafswitch and pal nut new"

Again, I contacted him and asked if he had 30 complete. I bid on those 15 right when I saw them because they were so cheap. Notice I haven't won them yet? If I do, I'll get 15 buttons with no leafswitch or pal nut. That would give me a total of 45 buttons. I have received the other 30 in the meantime:
