Title: Does Mame support using multiple MS Sidewinder Dual Strike USB gamepads at once?
Post by: unclet on February 20, 2003, 04:59:15 pm
Can you connect 4 Microsoft Sidewinder Dual Strike gamepads to USB ports, use them at the same time and have Mame accept inputs from any gamepad successfully?

I want to hack these gamepads to connect my pots steering wheel assembly and two sets of pots gas/brake pedals.   I want to be able to use the steering wheel and pedals at the same time which means I would be using the Dual Strike gamepads at the same time.

Please let me know if this possible since I have found some good deals on these gamepads and want to know if I should buy them for hacking or not.....

thanks

I've only used 2 at a time, but 4 should be possible--no reason I can see why not.  Again, just make sure to configure each game so it knows which controller to use!
