Title: Tell me why Not to...
Post by: Lon on March 07, 2006, 05:57:30 pm: Tell me why I shouldnt make player1sw1 send Enter as a keycode. Then tell MAME to use Enter in place of L-ctrl.

I am sure there is a reason not to do this, but I cant find it when I do a search.

No worries, i just decided to make the middle mouse/trackball button and enter key. I had an Enter button planned and drilled in my CP, but my Printed artwork placed Dirks head right on that spot, so needless to say, I skipped placing a button there.
