Title: PC joystick to 8-Way Trigger joystick conversion project
Post by: arzoo on March 07, 2006, 08:38:47 am: Nothing new here, it's been done before, but I thought I'd post some info and pictures of my 8-Way Trigger Joystick project. Many thanks to Retropolis and 1Up for laying the groundwork.

Post by: Kremmit on March 08, 2006, 12:06:37 am: It's a cheap way to get a triggerstick. Most of us have PC joysticks laying around collecting dust, or can get one at a thrift store for next to nothing. Happ's triggersticks, on the other hand, cost fat $$.

Post by: hanelyp on March 08, 2006, 07:51:25 pm: Ah, transplanting a handle from the PC stick to an 8 way base. Reading the title I thought it was an electronic adaptor from analog signal to digital signal, which wouldn't be too hard, but would give questionable results (mushy feel).
