Scored a free mk2 the other day and the monitor only shows red.The color is way out of wack.I looked for green and blue adjustments and did not find them.need advice.
-
1) didn't state the make/model of monitor
2) did you check the connections to make sure everything is plugged in?

25 inch wells-gardner 25k-7197.i can't find any red-green-blue knobs.it's driving me crazy. At first all i saw was rainbow colors on the edges.I degaussed the monitor and the rainbow left. The only colors are red.If a connector is loose, where should i look???Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if you have a red screen with diagonal lines going across it then your red drive transistor is short circuit,i think you can find your colour controls on the neck card-but its been a long time since i worked on this type chassis so no doubt someone else on this forum will put me right.you see what you need to prove is
1-is your red transistor driving short
2-are your green and blue not adjusted correctly
3-are your colour inputs from your game board present

No red lines.I can't even find the blue and green color adjusters.further inspection looks like the monitor is a replacement one.Uncovered some dust and found Phillips w22x model.

Heater-Cathode short?
Try tapping on the clear glass neck of the tube, very gently, with the handle of a screwdriver, while the monitor is off...
