Title: Midway classics cab for $450 (free shipping)

Looks like the same one going for $500 at target.  $50 cheaper (and no tax except in Jersey) and delivered to your door.  Pretty sweet deal for anyone who wants a ready-to-go cabinet.

Ugh - I guess I'm spoiled, but I saw that thing in Target and it was awful.  The screen was teency and fuzzy, and everything about it felt really cheap.  The impression I got was that it wasn't made out of much more than cardboard box material.

I thought the actual price at Target was under $500.

Target version (http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/sr=2-3/qid=1141497345/ref=sr_2_3/602-5648956-1622212?%5Fencoding=UTF8&asin=B000AQHKR0)

I've never seen it in action but I wouldn't be surprised if it's not high quality.  Most products of quality don't show up on geeks.com, but they're starting to get better.

Summary: it's a big pile of shite.

Yeah, but the actual in-store price was $399-$449.

I've just seen one of these things that some lame brain imported into the UK..... YEUGHHHH!!!!  :-\  And he even paid $350 to have it shipped. On top of that he's having to run it on a transformer that cost him

Seen one, tried it.

It's crap.  Complete and utter crap.  The joystick actually feels WORSE then one of the Jakk's plug into the tv thing...that should be the only thing you need to know.

And it's made out of some kind of 1/4 or 1/2 inch plastic...crap.

It's even worse then you think it is. :)

No, it's not a pretty sweet deal for a ready to go cabinet. It is a rip off of a deal on a piece of crap cabinet.

for the screen you can get a remote from the manufacturer to help with the screen.

though you can buy a cab and add a pc for like 200 or less.

it's kind of like how department stores don't sell bikes...they just sell things that look like bikes...

target doesn't sell arcade cabinets...they just sell things that look like arcade cabinets...
