Title: POINTERS ON HOOKING UP 360 CONTROLS
Post by: HEAVY BARREL on April 12, 2002, 06:34:48 pm
HI, I JUST GOT 2  360 SPINNER TYPE CONTROLS(THE NON-OPTICAL KIND)LIKE ON IKARI WARRIORS.  NOW ANYONE GOT ANY GOOD TIPS TO WIRE THESE THINGS UP.  HERE'S WHAT I GOT... AND OPTI-PAC AND AN I-PAC.  I KNOW THE OPTIPAC WON'T WORK BUT ANY WAY TO HOOK IT UP TO THE I-PAC?

Damn!  And here I thought this was a forum on the Happ Perfect 360 sticks ;)

On a related note, those spinner-sticks that Happ sells, do either of them "click" to position?  What I'm trying to say is, when you rotate the shaft of the stick, is there a feeling of it "clicking" into the next finite position?  ...or do they just spin like a spinner knob?

Thanks

Depends upon which joystick you get. The 8-way Rotary Joystick (50-5618-00) goes click-click-click when spun.  The 8-way Optical Rotary Joystick (50-5619-00) spins freely like a spinner. No clicks.
