I searched around for this in the forums, but did not find what I was looking for. So forgive me if its too simple of a question.
I've got a cab that was converted to a Killer Instinct game at some time. It has 2 players/6 buttons setup to a jamma harness.
I hooked up the jamma harness to a JPAC, which obviously gave me 2 players and 3 buttons each. In the harness, there is a molex labeled "Player 3". Would that be the same as a "kick harness". I would have ohm'd the pins on the molex to the buttons 4-6 if my cheapo DVOM probe didn't fall apart the other day. I'll bring my good Fluke meter home tonight, but I was just wondering if this was a common label for the kick harness. If so, I may want to save the connector on it, incase I decide to put a PCB back in the cab someday.
Thanks a ton, as always,

Usually a kick harness is for additional buttons , I had to install one on my mk3 cab.. Without it I had only 3 butons that worked instead of 7

In my case, the cab I have was converted at some point to a Killer Instinct, but the kick harness was labeled "Player 3". I went ahead and toned out the connector to the buttons 4,5,6 on both players. So I cut it off and wired those wires into my JPAC.
