I recently emailed them asking about the status of the TV-Lightgun preorders and I got this email on Feb 17:
"It looks like we will be making them. It could be another 6-8 weeks before we get them in stock."
Congats to all of us who had the sense to support them in the pre-order! :)

Well, that is a bit of good news. Now all we have to do is figure out how to put them in a more realistic looking gun shell......I figure that some of the guys here will be ready to hack the guts into another gun the day they get them.

yeah, I'm thinking Nintendo Lightgun for me....kinda scared about trying to line up the optics on it though...if that gets messed up then it won't aim right at all.

Well I haven't checked in a while, but last time I checked the Happ Controls website had gun shells for sale without the parts inside. Apparently it's not so hard to brake them so replacement shells are commonplace. That would be the ultimate in authentic. (And you can actually fit it in a holster.)

Wow, hacking a lightgun...that would be pretty cool. I just bought an actlabs lightgun (obviously the PC monitor version), and I love it! I don't know if I'd want to hack to open though. The design is very sleek and I like the silver and black combo. Plus, the handle has a nice grip feel to it... Although, for those who want "maxium arcade authenticity in there own home", a gun from an arcade machine would be best. :)

Good news for you TV folks. I'm glad I didn't have to give in and order though, since it looks like I'd need one of the current PC monitor guns instead. With Andy's new video card, I'll be going the arcade monitor route after all... ;)

Great news for us TV folk ;D
Haven't checked lately .. but is there any word on being able to run 2 guns at the same time?

To answer a couple q's:
1. For an arcade monitor I believe you need to PC VGA Lightgun. There have been people who have successfully hooked it upto their Arcade Monitor. You might have to search the forum to find this though.
2. The current lightguns will NOT work with two players simply because they are emulating mousemovement and windows does not support for than one mouse. Act-Labs is definately looking into how to get 2 guns going.
