I got a replacement grommet from ponyboy but I can't figure out how to replace it. It has a bigger diameter hole than the original grommet. Any suggestions.

The grommet Ponyboy has listed in his thread IS NOT for an original Pacman joystick. Those grommets are for WICO leafswitch joysticks.
The one for the original Pacman joysticks is available in this auction:

Even though it says MsPacman, it is the same joystick for Pacman. I know because I bought one and it works perfectly in my original Pacman joystick.

Ok, who has a set of micrometers and can measure that shaft. Is it bigger than .257" ?
Thanks,

Sorry Randy,
No micrometer on me however here is a link to a picture that has the diameter of the original grommet.

Thank you for the info Markrvp, unfortunately I found out it didn't fit the hard way. Took a couple of hours to take my cp and joystick apart only to find out I had the wrong grommet. My bad, I wasn't looking at the fine print when I bought it.
