Ok, I'm looking to buy a lot of games in the next week. Among them are two cockpits, a PPII and a Taito Continental Circuit. If I get both I will sell at least one of them. Price will depend on what I end up paying for eveything. Mor epics will come when the games do.
Is anyone looking for a cockpit for a driving cab? If so, make a reaonable offer (for now). I should have a price after I finalize the buy.

These can make for a nice MAME or console driver.
I turned a gutted Red Baron cockpit (very similar to a Pole Position cockpit) into this Dreamcast driver.

BTW EyeDoc ... any pins in the lot?

That's pretty sweet! Don't ever show that on RGVAC....those guy's will kill you!
Sorry, no pins in the bunch.

You gutted a RB! Arrgghh! You know what those are worth? Man, I hope you sold the parts to someone who could use them.

From the sounds of it, it was gutted when he got it. If I'm mistaken... feel free. Here's a rope. ;D

Parts were already gone by the time it got to me, not even a control panel. Just wood.

Does the PPII work? Honestly I would rather have a cheap non-working cockpit (to MAME) than an expensive working game. A working monitor would be a plus.
I live in Granbury, so I'm fairly close to you. Any idea what price we're talking about?

$50 for the Taito. It's a bit beat, but should fix up nice. That one is actually really comfortable to sit in. I'm pulling the monitor (N/W anyway) for parts. The shifter is missing, but I probably have one around here.
PPII looks good overall. The artwork is worn, and the other side is black. Otherwise it looks nice. It's not working, no boards, no monitor chassis. I may keep it if my wife approves.....or unless someone makes a good offer for it.

That story on your blog freaked me out. I moved from my home poker game to winning $65 playing $2/$4 Hold 'em at Foxwoods. I thought I'd hit the big time. I'm NEVER playing again after reading that :-\

OH CRAP! I forgot to update that! The story is fake, I did it for a gag at another website (www.somethingawful.com) and so many people looked at it, it caused my host to start overcharging me for bandwidth. As a result, I never got around to fixing my website or updating my blog!!!!!
LOL. I really did dislocate my finger though, it still hurts.
I actually have a very nice job which is promoting me on Tuesday. The only sucky thing about it is having to move a lot which causes me to have to sell off my arcade every once in awhile b/c I can't take it all with me.
EDIT: On a side note, I lost 3 grand in Vegas last time I was there, so I still don't recommend gambling unless you are OK with losing the money.

C'mon guys! I'd like my thread back now. ;D
