Hi all, this is pretty short and sweet. I'm planning on having a couple friends over for "arcade olympics" or an "arcathalon" if you will. We'll play a bunch of games and top 3 score or winners get medals. Overall winner is the one with the most medals. One game I would love to have in the contest is an olympic game with track and field events. Unfortunately, most of the arcade games require the player to get a certain minimum time or distance to move to the next event. If none of us do that, we'd have to start over. I guess what i'm asking is, is there an arcade olympic game that lets you chose your events? Secondly, if there isn't an arcade one, I have NES, SNES, Genesis, SMS also on my CAB, any suggestions there?
Thanks!
Nate

If I remember correctly you can pick the events that you want to participate in on the NES version of Track and Field. You still have to qualify to keep going but you can pick which ever event. You could pick the event, write down the result and then pick another.
