Title: Best Blog site?

I really need to find the best site to pour my emotional heart out to a non-caring internet audience.....

No.

Actually, I'm going on a cross country trip this summer, and will be setting up a website to log the trip, and allow friends and family to track the trip... However, I'd rather it be fancy and nice, with a cool flash intro, etc, while still maintaining the blog comment aspect. It'd be cool to have the live journal feel without the crapass livejournal whiny ass look.

Anyone have suggestions?

I see these types of sites all the time too, but this is the first one I saw with a different frontpage.  I'm not positive, but it sure SEEMS like you'd be able to set up a flash intro page, no?

Yeah shouldn't be a problem.  Make the Flash intro your main page then just link into the blog from there.

Hell you could just go get a damn blogspot deal and put up a page with just a flash intro that then links to blogspot for that matter.

Thanks for the help guys. I think I've got a friend who will host a word press blog for me.

BTW, the trip is me and 2 buddies crossing the US on Sport Touring Motorcycles.
