Title: PS2 analog sticks and PC gameport joysticks - how many ohms?
Post by: Martoon on February 20, 2006, 01:02:23 pm
Anyone know offhand how many ohms the pots are on a PS2 Dual Shock controller?  And for old style (gameport) PC joysticks, was there more or less a standard for the pots on those (and if so, what is it)?

I've got an old gameport driving wheel and pedals I'm thinking of hacking to an old worn Dual Shock (so I can use the wheel on a PS2).  Just wondering if I'll be able to wire straight across, or if I'll need any resistors to adjust the pot range.

Yes, I can get in there with my multimeter and find out.  Just thought someone might know offhand.
