I have a couple questions. Specifically about the coin reject buttons themselves and the "coin restrictor"
If you look at the exploded-view here (http://www.happcontrols.com/coindoors/40051400_exploded.htm), there are three pieces that make up the coin-reject. There's the Bezel, the Reject button itself and the tiny "coin restrictor"
Is the coin restrictor required? Or is it only needed if you want to 'restrict' entry from certain sized coins?
That diagram shows a $.25 restrictor "FORMS 25.5MM OPENING" (42-0405-00) But there are other restirctors available, such as #42-0405-06 COIN RESTRICTOR,PLASTIC,29.5MM (1.14") Are there some tokens that are 1.14"? I'm just wondering, if I have to get these restrictors, which one should I get?
Also, since the coin-slot is not part of the actual reject button itself, I'm wondering if the difference between part 42-0517-05 (REJECT BTN ASSY,YL,HAPP .25 INSERT) and 42-0554-05 (REJECT BTN ASSY,YL,"TOKEN PUSH TO REJECT") is just a paper insert. And, can these paper inserts be removed and changed?
Finally, somebody here has an example of a coin door where they used multiple colors of Happ's rejects. Anybody know where that is or whose it was?
Thanks

Hi,
I have built two cabs one I have and the other one I sent to my brother in the UK. His I changed the coin mechs over to UK money. Anyway there is a restrictor on the part where you put the coin into the machine which allows bigger coins eg UK 50p as for the mechs well just replace with one that fits your needs as I did.
As for the reject insert they can also be repaced at the same time that the restrictor is removed from the door. It is very easy to do.
Let me know if you need to know anything else. Feel free to PM me.

Thanks for the replies.
divemaster127, do you have a pic of your cab here on BYOAC or elsewhere? I'm curious because I have a mental picture of a 4player cab where somebody used four different colored coin rejects. It was hawt!
Ghoward, since you've changed out the restrictors, can you tell me if they're even necessary at all? I mean, there's a slot there already, right? Or do you really need the restrictor in there to make the coin fall smoothly?

If you are using 25 cent coins you don't need to change a thing. Like I say, I only removed mine on my UK cab due to a 50p being too big to fit without doing so. However I found that out after I installed the new inserts and mechs... Such is life.
