Title: MAMEWah Vs. Mame32
Post by: allroy1975 on February 19, 2006, 05:10:37 am
I don't get what I've got going on.  When I fire up MAME32 I've got a seperate controler file selected.  (I like both joysticks 1 and 2 to be alive in games like pac man etc so that my wife and I can sit on stools in front of the cab and not have to get up when the other dies...)

When I load a game from Mame32, it works fine, player 1 and 2's joysticks are both "live".  I have Mamewah pointing to that same mame32.exe, but it displays that nag screen (doesn't do that when launched from Mame32) and player 2's joystick won't control pac man.  I thought as long as your MAME32 was configured those settings would just carry over..

does that make sense?  shouldn't this be working?

any help would be appreciated.

You'll have more success using command line mame with Mamewah. Using Mamewah with mame32 is a bit like using another FE to access Mamewah.
