Title: Where Does Cassini (Saturn) Bios Go?
Post by: M.A.M.E Power on February 18, 2006, 10:10:27 am
Trying to get into Saturn emulation can someone please tell me where to put the bios for this emulator.

It is not like Kega where you can browse and point the emulator towards it.

Thanks

Lea

I think (although I'm frequently wrong) that nothing out there currently does Saturn emulation anywhere near properly.

I looked into it a couple of months back while I was setting up Chankast and couldn't find any Saturn emulator to run in anything like a suitably playable form including Cassini.

If this isn't the case I would be overjoyed if someone knows how to emulate it successfully.

Giri_giri or something like that, was hacked by a guy named Barnito which apprently gave it decent support for some saturn games.

I think the emulator that I am using is a version of giri giri (a later one). I go to load a rom and a bios error presents itself, I just need to know how to configure the emulator to tell it where the bios is.

SSF emulator I can get to work , but it says that it cannot read the disc?

any suggestions guys?

Thanks

Lea

Cassini, the open source Sega Saturn emulator has been released. This Does NOT include a Saturn BIOS (for legal reasons) which IS required for the emulator to run.
You must put it in C:\Program Files\Sega Saturn and name it EURO.BIN.

The wonders of google  ;)
