There are a bunch of links floating around on the BYOAC forums and they all have a slightly different pinout when describing the VGA to scart hack.
The reason is, that unless you use the ArcadeVGA, you need to factor in sync issues. Well, I have built a small devide to take care of the H and V sync issues and to output composite sync and I want to use PowerStrip for setting up my resolutions. Now I just need a definitive answer as to which wiring I should go with. Bear in mind that I'm NOT using an AVGA or a Radeon card for that matter. This is for a GeForce gfx card. Which wiring do you guys have working?

I thought composite sync was just H&V sync combined. I just soldered a link wire beteen the two pins on the scart plug... view a few threads down.
I'm not sure on GeForce card wiring as everyone seems to use Radeons to get the right resolutions, don't think the pixel clock will drop low enough and there's something about negative sync signal to read about as well. Oh and it'll output 31Khz until powerstrip loads so your monitor's going to have to be off during boot up. I chose the easy option and let Andy at ultimarc solve all these problems for

Yeah, the reason I made the thread was to have all these things sorted out for good. Not too many cared, though. But thanks for answering.
I think combining H+V sync works but is actually not the 100% percent correct way to do it.
About pixel clock, I've had good success so far with my geForce 2 - still haven't tried it on a tv, though. And it should be easy to se the sync to negative or positive in powerstrip (actually I'm building a little circuit that will divide the sync, so I can have the tv on even during boot).
And I did get the arcadevga and I'm keeping it. But it isn't perfect for emulating other things than Mame, which is why I also want another option.
