Title: Getting a program to "boot" from startup
Post by: oznetradio on February 16, 2006, 04:25:26 pm
Howdy,
I searched through the entire forum before posting this. I don't think I am covering a topic that has already been solved.

How do I get a jukebox program (haven't picked which one yet) to load straight away when I turn my PC on? I plan to use an old PC that I have and put it in a cabinet. I want the jukebox program to start up when I push the "on" button on the PC case. Is this an easy task?

Put a shortcut to the program in your startup folder in your start menu.  Works like a champ.  Also, there is a program that you can use to change your splash screen when the computer comes on so instead of seeing the xp logo and the timer, you can have whatever you want!  Just do a search on splash screen or boot screen custom and look in the software forum, as that is where there will likely get moved to.  Good luck!
