Questions:
1) I download a set which contained GameGear and SMS roms in the same package and I would like to split the rom sets up in separate GameGear and SMS directories. How can I tell which files are GameGear vs SMS? Also, the files are currently all zipped.
Do all GameGear files end in "GG" extension and all SMS roms end in "SMS" extension? If this is correct, then I guess I would need to determine which Zip'd files have GG files in them and which have SMS files ..... does this sound correct?
2) Do all Sega32x rom sets end in "32x"? These sets are packed together with Sega Genesis Roms and I would like to separate these as well?
3) How many Rom files does Sega32x have? Some sites indicate 88 files only .... is that correct? Only 88 for Sega 32x?
4) There is a torrent file which indicates it is linked to "Neo Geo CD" and a second torrent file exists indicating it is for "Neo Geo". Would you think "Neo Geo" refers to "Neo Geo Pocket"?
This is similiar to jcrouse's CPViewer website listings of "Consoles". He indicates "Neo Geo CD" and "Neo Geo" ........ does "Neo Geo" mean "Neo Geo Pcoket color/mono" as well?

1) Use GoodTools and GoodGUI to split your sets into separate directories.
If the roms are in the correct format then yes unzipped roms for Gamegear end in gg and sms? for Mastersystem etc.
2) As above
3) Can't remember
4) Doubt it. I would suggest the NeoGeo set is for NeoGeo arcade and console.
Again doubt it as a lot of people for some reson like to run NeoGeo games using Nebula rather than Mame. Personally I don't see the point EXCEPT for NeoGeo CD games which I've never bothered with.
