Title: Mamewah-merge or unmerge roms

Hi

I did some search on this topic but most of them are old like 2003, I'm getting my roms set but I believe they are gonna be all merged sets. I will use Mamewah so I was wandering if any of those previous posts still valid, I mean is it that Mamewah does not like merged sets, and is romcenter still easier to use then clrmamepro or is there something new available to unmerge roms?

Mame won't care, but just about every fe out there will.  Windows front-ends don't do crc checks. 

If you have merged roms, unmerge them. Mamewah doesn't like merged roms.

Since MAME removed the 'verifysets' switch, it is harder for FE's to recognise merged sets.  However, I always recommend using split sets anyway, as it just causes less problems generally.

Personally I would use ClrMAMEPro to do the job...you can take your pick :)

Thanks Minwah, I received my set's today, 10 dvd's mame, 9 daphne, 4 VP I guess I'll be busy for some time.
