Title: TigerDirect Rebates

Finally gonna start working on the MAME cab again. Need a PC and monitor. I've heard that Tigerdirect does not always honor its rebates. They seem to have the cheapest stuff. Has anyone ever had a problem?

I have received all of my tigerdirect rebates.  Make sure you read the fine print first.

And keep copies of EVERYTHING!  And don't be afraid to contact your Consumer Protection/Attorney General if they give you a hard time.

I always hear horror stories about TigerDirect's rebates but I've never tried one.  But I'm a pain in the ass to these places and ahve never had a rebate go un-fulfilled.

I keep hearing about these horror stories and I don't understand them because TigerDirect does not actually offer rebates!

The rebates are all through the manufacturers.(ie. Segate, Asus, Ultra, etc).

I have bought many things through TigerDirect (most with rebates) and I have gotten every penny.  Some of the more recent ones were even direct deposited for me.

TigerDirect even has a rebate guarantee program, but it requires extra effort and documentation on your part such as documenting everything and paying for delivery confirmation when you send in the rebate.

With any rebate, you MUST read everything carefully, and make sure you send in all the required information.  Pay attention to expiration dates!!!!!!!!  Most rebates expire.

Yep, many of their rebates are now using onrebate.com.  I love having rebates sent directly to my paypal account.

I too have heard the bad (on this board), but have always received my products and rebates with no hassles.  I love onrebate.com.

I bought a TigerDirect deal somebody posted on this board a while back.  It had two rebates, one through onerebate.com, and one direct from Soyo.  I got the onerebate.com one pretty quick.  For the Soyo one, it took a long time and I had to contact the Soyo rebate people, but I did get it.
