Title: problem reprograming ipac 4.

i searched the board but i couldn't find any topic about this.

here goes...

i wanted to reprogram the buttons from default mame setting because i don't like to use keys such as alt, ctrl etc. because if i change some setting in game (tab) in mame and i press the button that uses these keys it would display left alt right alt instead of just left alt.
so i want to just use letters to make it easier.

now i changed the keys in WinIPAC, saved it but when i press program it will display timeout error everytime.

anybody have this problem? this ipac4 is new i got it for chrismas 2005.

Not sure about the programming issues, but I do know that the configure problem of left alt/right alt often happens when you have a game paused and try to configure. Be sure you are not paused an the configuring should work fine.

oh never mind the timeout error are gone now. odd
