Title: Ultimarc Trackball to Optiwiz?

Just curious, is this possible or will I need some kind of crazy adapter type stuff?

Well, the happ harness randyt sells won't work on the ultimarc tball obviously.  I would just get the solder version and solder the wires to the board.  Its pretty easy.  I did it for my test rig:
