Title: Shelf monitor to vert (Updated)
Post by: MYX on February 08, 2006, 09:05:40 pm
I am looking at a shelf mounted monitor on e-bay. I am building a vertical based cabinet. Any idea how to mount a shelf vertically? On the sides it looks like two slots for mounting. Is this correct? Can it also be mounted vert?

Bump... Sorry, but there is only a few hours left on the auction. Anyone have any experience doing this?

That monitor has bottom mounts for an ordinary shelf.... The front ones are for screwing a bezel to it.

Thats not a very descriptive auction, they could at least tell you what model the monitor is.

Anyway, thats not really a deal of the century for a regular std res monitor. You'd be better off buying a universal-mount monitor like here (http://arcadeshop.com/parts.htm#Monitors). You might end up paying $10 or so more, but it'll be much less of a headache to mount.
