I have my feelers on an complete upright Phoenix cabinet at a local thrift store here in Altanta inside the perimiter.
They only want $25 and I am soooooooo out of room and overloaded with RB projects I just cannot get it. The cabinet and sideart are in fanstastic shape, cpo could stand to be replaced, and they say it does not work though I would be interested to see what a fuse or two would do.
As I said the game is complete other than the back doors, but it even has a manual sitting at the bottom.
If you are interested, pm me though you have to let me know you will not be maming this one.

Nice, I like how you are holding it hostage until someone says they will not MAME it :)
-
Do you have pics? Or could you get some? Man I wish I had room. Loved Phoenix as a kid.
-
Man, I dont have room, but if no one takes this i will be forced to make room
-
Sigh..
I have the room, and that was my favorite game as a kid. (Would NEVER Mame it) However, I live in upstate NY, and that's just tooooo far of a road trip. Somebody save this one!

I tipped a local collector to the deal, he is headed out today to scoop it up.

Update from the lucky guy -
=======================================================
Went last night. Nice cabinet, I don't think I've seen nicer original
side art on one of these. It will be a nice addition to my Centari
games (Gyruss and Circus Charlie). I started writing - "I haven't
plugged it in to see what it does yet." and thought, I'll go plug it in.
Turned it on, it made a startup sound and there was static on the
screen, patterned static. Coined it up and it sounded like it was
playing. Adjusted the horizontal controls on the monitor and IT WORKS!
Even has a decent picture.
I'm going to clean it uip, make a back door for it, and put it in the
collection (my original plan was to do it after a couple of other projects).
Very Cool! Thanks so much for the tip! It's a nice addition to the
collection.
