Title: Would the guts of the new Backlit GBA fit into the case of the old "Lit" GBA?
Post by: crashwg on February 05, 2006, 10:14:16 pm
I like my NES edition GBA but the new backlit screen of the GBA has me feeling as though I'm using sub-par equipment so I'm wondering if I can transplant the guts from the new to the old so I can have the best of both worlds.

I have no idea, but on my GBA I installed a device called an afterburner which lights up the screen as if it was backlit.  It was a number of years ago so you may not be able to find one, but if you can I'd recommend going that route first.

Heres a product description of it so you know what to look for, unfortunately its no longer being made and so it'll be hard to find.
