Title: External Winamp Remote Box
Post by: Mikew88 on January 31, 2006, 07:36:34 pm
Hey Everyone,

I browsed the winamp plugin library and found a little porgram called COM-port Winamp Control. Basically it lets you connect up to 15 buttons to a 9 pin com port. I've build a little control box out of an old floppy disk case that has the following functions: Previous Track, Play, Pause, Stop, Next Track, Volume Up, Volume Down. You can see a picture of what it looks like here:  http://www.spunge.org/~bavilo/remote.JPG

Sure it doesn't look pretty but im going for functionality here, Ill build this into one of my drive bays when i feel like it.

So anyway, this could be a nice feature to have on a mame cab or jukebox to change music and whatnot. Just throwing it out there ;)
