Title: Did a chassis swap, but got a problem

I performed my first monitor chassis swap today!  :D  I was quite nervous, but managed it.

However, after reconnecting everything as best as I could, I got this:

This is a sync problem, correct? If so, what's strange is that the chassis is actually the same chassis, but connected to a different tube. Why would this chassis work find with one tube and not another (all other things being equal)?

The horizontal hold is out of adjustment.

That did it! Thanks yet again! I now have a beautiful picture (tho it could still use some adjustment to the colors).

I have one problem remaining: the picture is still too wide, and my horizontal size pot doesn't do anything. I turn it and see no changes. Anything I can do?

Go to Bob Roberts' monitor width adjusting page for more info. You may need to change the value of the capacitor that sets the range of the width coil.
