Title: mamedox?
Post by: slycrel on January 26, 2006, 06:17:03 pm
I recently came across mamedox on a bittorrent tracker site.  It seems to work well, but I'm curious if there's a home page or osme discussion on MAME for the xbox.  Everything I can find seems to be years old.  I ahve an xbox in my arcade cabinet and have even toyed with porting my own version if I can figure it out to get something more up to date than mameox.  Any information in regards to this would be fantastic.  Thanks.

Hmm a quick google search seemed to turn up lots of good information, including a link to a release less than a year old.

I haven't updated my version of mameox in longer than that.  I think it was based on .79.  But if you want the best and most current info you should check out xbox-scene.com.  They have (or had) pretty active mame forums.

There is an "updated" version called mamedox.

I've been looking around a lot and can't seem to find a version with trackball support.  Which I'd love to have.

Too bad.

I've not been able to determine if light gun support works or not also.

I'll post if I find anything out.  If anyone else knows feel free to drop a link.
