I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I could not find it in the archives.
How do you remove the Nag screen on Mame that says hit "Ok to Continue". I'd like to launch straight from MamaWah into the game.
Thanks in advance,
Marco

Would like to know too honestly, for Mame32... and I don't seem to have any .cfg or ini files on mame at all... any possible way to remove it without editing files I don't have?!
-
you use the new caommand line options in mame that remove them... it's in the mame documentation and you can also set it in the mame.ini

that's hardly an answer... at least give 'em a link or something HC =P

To add, it's skip_gameinfo and skip_warnings in the mame.ini file.

As mentioned, in .63 and up you can just check those in options menu. If you want to recompile your own, see this site for answers:

Thanks everyone.
BTW I am currently running Mame .62 so I would not be able to find the answer in the Mame readme. I appreciate those of you who took the time to give me a complete answer. I now know that I need to update to v.64 or v.65 to get this functionality.
Thanks again to all,
Marco

There is no option to get rid of the "OK to continue" screen as far as I know. Its a warning screen to let you know the game does not play 100%. The other two nag screen options are in the 'Interface options" in Mame32. To get thru the OK screen without a keyboard all you need to do is press LEFT then RIGHT on your controller or use the arrows on the keyboard.

The www.arcadepanels link above covers "ALL" nag screens, including "Screen flipping is not supported", etc. The first source code changes are not required with MAME 0.63 and above.
