Title: Do I have to unzip my movie previews??

Hello,

Just downloaded the latest pack of mame previews.  They are all in separate folders (A, B, C, etc) and zipped up inside of each folder.  Do I have to unzip each one of those folders in order for MameWah to recognize them???  If so, is there an easy way to do this? (ie, batch or something?)

My guess is that you wouldn't have to, but then again it is only a guess.  Where did you find them?

I say latest, i mean .98 version...so not really latest!

My guess is you would have too.  I wouldn't want large video files to uncompress to memory everytime it needs to be played :)

If you have winzip install I believe you can select all of them and unzip via the right click menu.

Correct, besides which, Mamewah can't use zips for images/movies etc.

put all of the movies in one folder, save your orginal files you will need to update again, then you need to get run winrar & unzip them, they will not work unless you do this

Yeah you can do this.  Don't use zip.  Download winrar (it's free).  That program can unzip everything in one fell swoop.

WinRar has issues with zips tho (apparently)...numerous people have had problems with my zipped downloads, but they unzip fine with WinZip.
