Title: Control Panel Overlay Question
Post by: eschmunk on January 23, 2006, 02:14:50 pm
Alright, I figure no better place to ask than right here.  I am starting to layout the way that I want my control panel to look. I have 2 8-ways with a 7-button layout, trackball with 3 mouse buttons, a 4-way with 2 buttons, and a couple of admin buttons.  Nothing unusual.  So when it comes to the artwork, do you generally create something and then drill holes afterwords or do you drill the holes measure and then create the artwork around that?  I love how some of you guys have small circles going arournd a set of admin buttons or player1 player 2 controls.  Just not sure how to go about it.  I appreciate all the help, thanks.

the best and safest way is to creat the CP art then go off of it.  Its a pain in the butt if you drill your holes before you get the art layed out.

1. Do the art
2. Print the art
3. Lay art on CP and drill holes

perfect everytime

Should have used the search function.  I sort of found the info that I was looking for.  Thanks though.
