Title: MTA Connector Wiring

I ordered a full set of .156 & .100 MTA connectors so I can rewire my xenophobe cabinet. I got the connectors and sat down to wire it up last night, but realized I have no idea how to wire these connectors. They look pretty straight forward. Looks like there is no need to strip the wire, you just need to hold wire perpendicular to the connector and then shove it straight down into the bladed slot.

I tried shoving it down with my finger, a flat head screw driver, pliers, etc... No luck. Is there some trick to this, or a specialty tool or something?

Think you need a manual (single wire at a time) tool.  Probably around $20 from whoever you got your connectors from. 

A pistol type tool costs $200 or more.

I think there is a separate tool for  .100 and .156

Fine-tip needlenose pliers work, but it's a pain in the butt.
