Post by: Santoro on January 22, 2006, 04:05:43 pm
I am selling this cab.

Discussed here:  http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=22050.msg178799#msg178799

It features:

WG K7400 Refurbished Monitor
7000-series ArcadeVGA
Happ 3" Blue trackball
Oscar Vortex Spinner
2 Happ Super 8-way Joysticks
1 dedicated Mspac/reunion stick.
Soyo Mobo with Athlon 2400+ CPU
Ipac & OptiPac (used but fully functional)
Tinted Safety Glass
60GB Hard Disk
256 MB RAM
52X CD ROM
Happ Over-under door
Windows 98 License/manual
Peale's famous black start buttons.
Lexan-covered CPO by Mamemarquees.com (has a very small nick in it)
ArcadeReplay Marquee with Logo by Pixelhugger, printed by Mamemarquees.com
2 hidden credit buttons.
Monitor and Marquee power up with the PC using a Sears 'smartstrip-equivalent' device.
Creative Inspire 2900 2.1 speakers - these sound awesome and have a volume/bass control that is mounted unobtrusively on top of the cab.

All parts are new unless specified otherwise. It was built as a prototype when I thought I'd be selling cabs as a side business.  With my job there has been no time. It has only been played about six times for testing.  I will be taking offers via PM, but keep in mind I spent at least $1200 on it plus a lot of time.  If I am only going to get $500-600, I am just gonna give it to my sister or something.  I can't ship it, so you need to be able to come get it in NJ - 07920.

Beautiful cab.

One of the nice ones.

Any reason you wont ship?

When I shipped my cocktail cab, NAVL came out and did everything.

I basically just opened up the garage.

I guess I could look at that, packing was my concern.  What if they damage it during shipping?

I would assume the buyer would have to take that risk.  Plus, the shipping company must offer some sort of insurance included in the price?

Its wasn't cheap.  I think the cocktail cost about $380 or so to ship but I didnt do any packing whatsoever.

Best bet would be to give NAVL a call and get a quote and insurance info.

You gonna include a batch of tokens to the lucky new owner??

OK, I'll consider shipping it for a good offer, so long as the buyer assumes the risk.

If that beauty was sitting at my place I could easily sell it for $2000 tomorrow.
I suggest you put an ad in the paper, people on this board are too..shall we say....thrifty.

I had flyers around local stores with no luck.  I might try a newspaper ad too.  With not even one PM so far I think you might be right.  ;)

I know a few ppl who always said they wanted me to make them a machine.  I'll get a hold of them and see how serious they are and if they're willing to put their money where their mouth is :)  I'm local to you anyway, so maybe I can help you find someone.

I'd love to have it for myself, but I don't have that much disposable cash right now :(

why dont you put it  on ebay you  are most likely to make money on that, but i would leave that t ur last options, probaly  put it on craiglist first, ebay is just a ripoff i think there charge to much using the service,  plus then you get charge for using paypal as well...... ???
