Are the "regulars" on alt.games.mame becoming overtly hostile to newbies?  Everytime some new guy finds his way to the newsgroup, there doesn't seem to be a lack of people calling him stupid or to go look elsewhere--makes me really appreciate the "regulars" here so much more.

Hey, we were all newbies once!  I'd wager that not many of us would have our cabs if not for the help of others.
