I'm so happy I got Mamewah working - but I'm having an issue with games like Pacman, MsPacman, Frogger, etc. that use an orientation different then a standard monitor. It automatically flips the image 90 degrees to the left. If I go to a dos prompt and run the game from Mame it does it also.
I created a mame.ini config and I see all kinds of options in here. Can someone tell me which one will stop the rotation?
Thanks

I've played with some settings and didn't have any luck. Here is what my mame.ini looks like. I'm sure it's something obvious. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

It's version 1.03
There is a switch in the mame.ini that says norotate and has a 0. I changed it to 1 (and I was thinking... this HAS to be it) and it didn't help.

Your video chip isn't an onboard intel chip is it?
-
It is the onboard intel video chip....
Let me look at it's settings. I didn't think to look there - whats your thoughts? I'll report back if I see anything that will help.
-
I didn't see anything in the control panel...
I put a video card in and disabled the onboard card and it works. Thanks for the tip.
Any idea why the onboard intel does that?
-
I'm not sure why it does it but I had the same thing happen with an intel chip. I think the consensus is that onboard intel isn't much of a chip for gaming.

Ok. Good to know.
Thanks for the heads up - I was scratchin my head with this one.

Intel onboard video has a feature that "automatically rotates" screens that are taller than they are wide.
I heard the setting can be changed, but it's hidden somewhere deep in the tapped (I don't have one ATM).
